When you close on a mortgage you are signing a 1 year occupancy clause, meaning that you will use the property as intended for the 1st 12 months of ownership. 

Piercing the veil refers to holding an individual or other entity responsible for the actions of an entity they hold an ownership or managerial interest in.  

Like Matthew, I am only interested in the east coast with a 'small scale' new Qualifying Facility where I would retain ownership; ITCs, SRECs, etc.
