Hey everyone , I'm new to the forum and i've enjoyed the vast amount of education that Bigger Pockets has to offer .

Chris is also the one that explained to me the power of quickly compounding properties instead of buying live-in fixers that take a few years to finish.I agree with @Jeff White as well and will add that I enjoy getting my hands dirty with renovations but I can't wrap my head around how to rent out rooms and renovate at the same time.

I am a decent saver, and enjoy a minimalist lifestyle. 

So, here comes the question, what is the best way to go about making my current home into an asset while getting into a newer home my family can enjoy and continue to grow and mind my business?

The latest situation was my tenants had no water and the unit 1 owner was ready to go on vacation and was not comfortable providing access.

I've been a member of several such groups, but only one, Lifeonaire, deserves full credit for lifting me from the depths of despair and then completely re-shaping my entire world to be the amazing and exciting carnival ride I enjoy today!
