Ask the seller to move the closing date a month out with addendum that the side I want to occupy has been vacant on closing?

Did you really need to ask the internet if that was unreasonable?

My mortgage is $1001, with another $550/m in trash, electric, salts/chlorine, internet, pest control and lawn.

Have a list a questions like who is the rental for , number of people, number of animals , number of cars, desired occupancy date etc. 

Our original construction contract had an estimated finish date with the majority of work being completed by 12/31/20.
