We have a portfolio in Chattanooga and we are originally from the area having gone to high school and college there.

I agree with you about CF, there is alot of rental supply, especially around the college of course.

I got my license only because I took all the required classes at the local community college.)After dozens and dozens of rehabs I became more interested in finding and putting together deals than I was in fixing broken houses.

I intend to do this either in the DFW market or College Station market, as I'm most familiar with these and I think they both have lucrative markets for the asset class I want to enter.

Since my units are at the beach, we've had humidity issues, and the AC helps with that, plus I don't want someone checking out with the AC "on" and running at 65 degrees and the cleaner forgets to check...But these keep dropping connection to the wifi.

I am in college and while all the classes and everything I take in school is great, nothing is really taught on how to underwrite a deal.

However, I will say that when you have colleges providing "safe spaces" for people to be protected from opposing viewpoints, Play Doh and coloring books because the wrong candidate won an election and emergency counseling funds released for people who had to go the atrocity of seeing political graffiti written in chalk on the sidewalk (all of these and many more events like them have actually happened), I would say in general we are raising a generation weak, entitled brats.

I will be graduation from college in December and will be looking for a full time job.  

Are you in a college town, or what kind of market are you in that so many STR's are sustainable??
