In all honesty in the 5 hours they spent with me driving around and looking at comps, they learned more about investing here in San Antonio than probably 50% of the agents who have lived here their whole life.Taking the time to fly out is not only for yourself seeing things, but should also be a time to meet with agents, wholesalers and other investors in that market.

But, you've got to have enough to offer for someone or a company to where they know they would be walking away from a good win win if they don't meet their end of things.I see that as being pretty critical. 

The exchange dates for the property that sells first are the key dates you have to meet. 

As soon as my offer was submitted with seconds left, the auction was extended automatically, and I would be informed later that I had been outbid.

I’m new to Real Estate investing and would like to meet and collaborate other investors in my city.

I'm happy doing calls to anyone on the ground, but not sure what's the appropriate cadence for someone out of state.I'm actually flying to meet with various individuals to hopefully create a team - would definitely like to create a long term relationship, as I may also potentially move to that location eventually.Appreciate these good questions...they have me thinking!
