The fumes from the refinishing will burn a hole through your lungs.

The #'s vary so much area to area and you have to know what your looking at so you don't over pay and get burned. 

@Frank ChinThe answer to that is a big fat NO, which makes this seem even more like harassment and knit picking.  

These are fully underwritten, with appraisals, underwriting your income, etc etc.If you want to hack the system the way I did, you jack up your purchase mortgage interest rate, take a big fat lender credit associated with that jacked up rate, and do the VA IRRRL exactly at the six month mark.

Hey @Cassidy Burns I live and buy down in Florida and have two mold remediation jobs under my belt.  

(pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered was the mantra I adopted)...My realtor, an experienced, graying real estate veteran and I looked at each other.... we both knew this market would not end well and could not go on forever. 

Some refer to it as "FIRING THE BOSS", others refer to it as "BURNING THE BOAT".

It states "If the investor takes possession on the earliest possible date--the date it receives the tax certificate, five days after the auction--then the administrative redemption period and the judicial redemption period will both burn off at the same time. " If the last taxes were paid for the 2012 tax year by the owner, the state bought it in 2014, then I bought it in April 2016, and took immediate possession.

I may get burned on this but I've had success dealing with legal disputes in the past so I have to at least see this one through while playing by the rules laid out in RLTO.
