Find out what they offer as far as training goes, and what kind of support do they give you once you start getting business.Ask the broker if they have anyone who can mentor you while you get up and running.

Regarding partnerships my mentor has given me some advice.

Also you can work with people who are doing it everyday...Find a mentor or a company and offer to help free of charge to learn the biz.  

If anyone could mentor me as far as wholesaling, I would greatly appreciate it.  

Mine tried to get me to pay $10,000 for more training as well as $10,000 for a mentor.

Research to find who is successful in doing what you want to do ( make money in real estate), offer to be a Locator for these successful pros, find deals for them, offer to work for free in return for some mentoring.There is no better way to accelerate your real estate career, find a mentor and you'll grow fast in this business.
