If there is a fire and they can't live at the property, your insurance is not going to pay for their additional living expenses (hotel, meals, laundry, etc.).

But I have never seen one so close to a building that it would be a fire hazard (a grill installed by the ownership that is).

Orlando rent prices are on fire.

It's scary as i had a fire in the kitchen of the upstairs rental in a duplex.  

They also called the fire marshal after reading an article online about CO detectors. 

No experience but do you have an oil fired boiler hot water system now or a forced air system?

If that's the case, be sure to get some quotes for what razing them would cost as the disposal and equipment fees would be several thousand dollars.Sometimes a local fire department will burn down a building for "practice" but nowadays that may create too big of an environmental impact.If you could pick up that property with it's present usage, can you envision a "highest and best" different usage for that much acreage in that area?
