That can make the taxes go up.If they raise the valuation higher than the price you paid you will need to fight the valuation.

Once you strong arm them out they will prefer to move on to the next unsuspecting home owner rather than attempt to legally fight a expensive battle they have no way of winning in court.Move them along, change the locks and make sure you or a trusted friend immediately occupies the property.

North end of 43608 that begins to border on 43612 is fine in my experience. (25 houses owned and managed for going on a decade). 43612 and 43613 are excellent "starter" zip codes but you will be fighting every out of town investor thus the property prices have doubled in the past few years.

I actually prefer the commute in from both of those cities into Allen vs fighting the traffic on the 75 in either direction... at least for now;-) Good luck to you in Texas!
