I’m trying to figure out what is the best way to hold rental properties. Is it better to place them under LLC’s or hold them under your name and then carry an umbrella policy to have more liability coverage?

Also, ask investors in your area for a copy of their templates.I don't think I've ever paid someone for a contract. 3 years in, with several partnerships/JVs/private lending, no problems so far!

Our goal for 2019 is to continue the same growth from this year, and create some relationships with private money partners. 

I typically only deal with private mortgages and notes for purchase and rehab.
