In order to remove this floor's planks, some very careful prying operations would have to be done.

The other risk I see is if there are layoffs of the middle-management ranks or high tech programmer/analyst type jobs move offshore.As you move down the price ranges and even on the higher end price ranges, if they are priced right, they get sold, get sold pretty quickly, and still getting multiple offers.   

You will make some great connections there and may be able to find a job or business partner.

Yeah, with the big push to dscr the rate differential isn't as bad, but its still there and so is the difference in terms.Also, people don't know how to operate the LLC. 

Newer homes are not always the "safest" - you'd be surprised at some of the high cost repairs that even new homes run into.I don't have an age limit on homes I would operate - many of mine were built in the 1950s and are great structures!

Lots of rehabbers here work day job and go do their work nights and weekends when city inspectors are sleeping.#3 I'm guessing if your friend did it, it was when prices were going up faster.
