I'm making my way into REI and so far, while the market is very competitive I'm my area (Hudson / Bergen counties in NJ), I'm finding properties which are worth, at minimum, analyzing well and making some offers.That said, I could really use some recommendations/referrals to general contractors and so I'm hoping the BP community could help!

Luckily a lot of things in Hawaii can be found by word of mouth since it's a smaller community here, so I guess it's just a matter of meeting the right people as well and keeping our eyes open for an opportunity.

If you network with your local investor groups you should be able to find someone that is reputable in your community that does private lending.
