Not necessary but I prefer the mindset it gives me. 

The main reason why investors prefer real estate syndication is access and time to deal flow.

Encourage each other and assure one another that you are in it for the long game, not so that you can brag to your friends that you are investors.

My preferred area is more north, about 3 hours away from where I am currently working.

All in all, call a good Loan Officer, preferably one local or one here on this forum to have a conversation and plan/strategize forward.

Once you narrow down your preferred markets for purchase, hire a knowledgeable realtor who understands the STR regulations and the "sweet spot" of each market. 

As a new licensee starting out, regardless of specialty, I would highly recommend choosing a Broker who can offer the best training possible in your preferred niche.

Not having any prior credible experience, what are some pointers to keep in mind in order to assure the end buyer and original home owner are protected?

HiI pulled out a permit of conversion garage to a master bedroom but the Owner changed his mind and he told me I prefer to build a ADU unit instead of a master bedroom. actually I have to change the current permit to a ADU permission.would you please guide me what is the process of this conversion?
