Here we go again....Now the same folks who pushed that owning a home is a right for everyone in the 90's ( we know how that turned out) is now asking fannie and freddie to loosen up the rules...It may be a good solution if it opnes up the doors to allow property to be sold quicker..

Hi,

I work with many foreigners that are looking to buy in the USA, mostly SFH in different parts of the country.

Banks won't lend them, even on a 50% LTV.

Do you have any suggestion where to turn to?

The only real possible solution to the condo, HOA, issue IMO is to be able to purchase the actual condo or HOA and dissolve it by a one time special assessment which gives the owners all rights to their properties without any chance of any other fees.
