I would not deal with it personally.. but anyway.. we collect basically the whole judgement through garnishments.. then I get a letter that she filed chapter 7 and all the money we collected had to be turned over to the trustee.. could be specific to Oregon.. but it happened.. but reality is and most landlords will tell you your case is more rare than the norm.
