That's a LOT of lost income.A general theory is a 10% or greater increase is basically a 'get out' signal.  

I just tell them that without some basic financial information, I can't make an offer. 

Real rates (factoring in inflation) are already basically at 0%, but I think they will go much lower.

@Eric Veronica It’s crazy that you mention the 10000 hour rule because I was listening the the biggerpockets business podcast episode 1 today and Joshua Dorkin explained that he basically invested 10000 working hours into BiggerPockets before it took off.
