I recommend setting up keyword alerts for each area as they are discussed in the forums daily with advertisements posted in the BiggerPockets marketplace hourly.One thing to note when looking at the individual markets, you can make or lose money in any market.

It's really a personal decision, are you a self-starter or do you need someone to kick you in the seat of the pants daily?

I'm going to grind it out daily for the next 10 years with everything I got. 

It will help show you if you have the necessary daily habits that will ensure your success. 

In my experience you can find 5-10 events happening daily in the metro!
