When that happens, "classified ad sites" are going to get further disrupted, in my opinion.Also, I agree that many of the sites are not doing adequate due diligence, and have written extensively on this.

We actually had to get an extension on that deal because "they buyers lived on an island and they couldn't get a notary to them" on the day the lender had the closing docs sent to escrow, which is kind of ridiculous, if you know the area.

I haven't used the site for any extensive work, but I have a rental that is across the country from me, and I have used it to hire flooring, painting, and landscapers before with out issue.You post what the scope of the project is (which can be pretty much anything around a house), and contractors/businesses will submit bids (or ask more questions in order to submit a bid).
