Does the type of income or way I'm taxed effect what kind of loans I can receive.

Is there more effective techniques?

In my day job, I'm in communications/PR and my background is as a journalist.

We were looking to buy... but renting seems to a much more cost effective option. 

How will it effect market and what do you see happening in Indianapolis real estate market in near future?

I don't know cost details yet, and obviously that's a huge factor, but I was just curious if anyone here had given it a shot and how effective it was.

The one other thing I will mention is that in today's day and age, with all the varied communication tools at our disposal, you are no longer limited to having a CPA in your direct market.Regards,

Please be aware that my work doesn't allow for much free time 8:30-5pm to check emails and the site so the evenings and Sundays are going to be my focus for communicating.  

It's just recently that I've started communicating on the forums but I've been following Bigger Pockets for a while (webinars etc) and it's great.  

I'm thinking about adding some value and exiting with a short term hold (3-5yrs) to trade up via 1031.Occupancy will not effect your financing when you are buying above 4 units.Mark
