Once we receive the Denial Letter, I will be able to ask the Zoning Department directly to clarify in case there is Any opportunity to pursue this with an Administrative Adjustment (as you are noting); however, I don't expect that ti be the case.As a few others have noted, regardless of whether you are pursuing an Administrative Adjustment or a Zoning Variation, you will need to submit Architectural drawings for your proposed scope of work to the Zonign Department, and obtain an official "Denial Letter".

The siding and windows are in such condition that it simply makes sense to go with full, new construction type windows with the integral nailing fins and J-channel.
