The reason why I said get a job because you don’t want to be homeless and your job has to cover your bills.Now your essential bills are covered from a 40 hours a week job such as rent/mortgage, food, gas, insurance, internet and student loans (if you owe any).

So all the time spent reviewing these properties and the money spent in gas and paying the sitter was a waste. 

The listing says "separate utilities: electric, gas, heat" but there is only one furnace in the basement.

The owner pays about 90$ a month on water/sewage/trash and the renter pays NIPSCO (gas and electric) and they do not have separate meters but I would like to put them in, if possible.

Get a gas one because the electric ones won't keep up.
