While I'm not sure specifically if they or any companies that offer Damage Protection coverage for 2 - 6 month stays, I know some people require a security deposit for longer stays (sometimes only half month) to mitigate damage risk and sometimes renters insurance as well.

The interviews could give you a lot of other people to follow/connect with for what you need.Investor Mel & Dave - I heard Voros interview them, but haven't really dove into any of their content, but they did 12 seller-financed deals in 12 months.If you're looking for how to get into the USA market for Canadians, Glenn Sutherland's "A Canadian Investing the US" podcast is similar to Voros mix of personal insights and interviews, but (almost) all with the focus on going south.I hope that helps!

When people is asking to compare syndication vs DST it means it's totally newbie question too sorry too say.I would say the DST is more structured like an REIT, it's the Mercedez Benz of Commercial Real Estate.In syndication it's more like Fast-and-Furious drifting car haha, some of the operators really wild wild west, they are running with DSCR 0.6x to succumb investor's money.

Because of the location, this is permissible per county regulations, even though the residential neighbors are having a tough time with it.So, we have to move and convert our home into a STR (we cannot sell the property because it is 2 homes and an elderly family member lives in the other home and cannot move).
