Regarding lead, this most likely is required to rent the unit and if someone showed up today and wanted to move in tomorrow they couldn’t without the inspection then you would be upset the inspection wasn’t done.If they note price is to high, why have you not lowered it?

Assuming they are local tell them you’d like to meet with them today or tomorrow at the latest at their bank to get this settled.
