The house has been in my family for over 60 years, so let me admit that this would be a 100% emotional purchase, which definitely goes against my normal financial sense.

Having a system/process like this takes out the emotion and fear of making a bad decision. 

As an investor, I cannot get my emotions the best of me.

I would like to move within the next 18 months, but don't want to risk a poor decision and dispose of my investment profitability due to emotional circumstances. 

Most agents are trained to sell owner-occupant clients on emotional decisions.Less than 5% of agents understand ROI, Cash-on-Cash and other metrics important to investors.

And as for where I am putting my wealth, I am buying companies, assets, and keeping some dry powder to buy out fools who got in over there heads and have poor to no liquidity for when people, like yourself, are running around with there hair on fire freaking out in emotional swings and fits. 

I try not to get emotionally involved in my decision making, how does the lady seem? 

Emotional support, therapy and comfort animals aren't pets.

You have the best case scenario here don’t let your emotions get the best of you.
