You should consider doing Cash Flow investing with depreciation of assets and appreciation of property while selling to Tenant Buyers if you really want to become wealthy.

I am thinking of buying and investing in a residential type house that has at least 2 miles of nature (no other neighbors or even stores) surrounding it, that is about 30minutes to 1 hour drive to an interesting city that has cafes, stores, and cultural events, culture, and all that cities have to offer.

I have been an electrician for 19 yrs and realized a long time ago that no matter how much overtime I do, I will never become wealthy doing it. 

Right now I am getting hard money loans from wealthy private individuals for 6-8% annual interest rates, interest is paid on a monthly basis with a balloon of the entire balance usually due within 9-12 months.  

But in the end, if it comes to it, I also recognize that you don't need credit when you have cash (despite what this culture tries to instill in us).

Anyways, I like the puppy:)I could not bring myself to buy a new vehicle unless I was super wealthy.

And if I ever wanted to unload them, it would be in a very competitive market with a lot of wealthy investors.

Mediocre deal have made me fairly wealthy.

If you think of most of the wealthy people, at least in my country, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, most of them are landowners or landlords.
