I just read an article in the Denver Post about Tumbleweed Homes building a tiny home community down the road in Salida.

Denver’s average Median Household income (latest stats I could find) is $62,760. http://www.bizjournals.com/denver/blog/finance_etc...Still less than the average home price....but even then, my numbers could be way off...but they are still trending in the same direction based on this Denver Post article from last March.http://www.denverpost.com/2016/03/04/what-salary-i...This shouldn't be new news to anyone who's watching the market in this area.

Does anyone have links to articles about interviewing property managers?

I've also been reading books and articles on hotels and hotel investing, and have been analyzing deals and submitting offers. 

In an article like this: https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2014/03/1...The author says "Let’s say you structured the deal such that the investors get 75% of the building and you gave yourself 25% for putting the whole thing together."

I would say you can read this article which should help you determine your stand on which way to go.https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2016/07/2...I would say don't rush into anything.  

The majority of threads/articles/etc. pertained to people looking to make a living from buying investment properties rather than those who just wanted one property to use for another business and letting part of the tenants' rent pay the mortgage.
