Dear people ,I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself.I am Max from the Netherlands and have been investing in rental properties for the last 6 years in the Netherlands.Currently i hold 10 properties in the Netherlands.Right now I am planning to start investing in the USA for multiple reasons.One of them is that my fiancé is an American :) ;)I am still figuring out to work w a turnkey company or do the purchase part myself and work with a property manager.Are there any foreign investors here that have experience with getting an US bank account to their LLC while being on a distance ?

Thank goodness.Learned later the S Corp owner didn't use an agent and thought a corporate entity is all he needs for protection.

Suggest you call a 1031 corporation.

A corporate thing, they had a canned response all written and ready.

Note: A single-member LLC may make the election to be taxed as a corporation, which would require filing Form 1120 or 1120-S.

Our preferred lender doesn't really care if it's in an LLC or not - if its an investment property then it gets the same loan products regardless if a corporation or individual owns it.

After a week she had not sent the deposit, she said my rental agreement was going through corporate, so I had her Venmo me 1/2 the rent to hold the reservation.The employer contacted me for a W-9 a couple of weeks later and I did receive a check from them and I am planning on venmo-ing back the difference to the renter.
