Start a spreadsheet, get some quotes and put some numbers to each and see how much it costs you for the one time lending fee, then on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Cheers!

@Peter Nikic no experience on this, but at the current time, nationally, roughly a quarter of houses are having price drops, the pool of buyers is shrinking (due to the interest rates you mentioned) and the time on market is increasing.No, it’s not a crash, and we’re going from a crazy overvalued market to an overvalued market…With those caveats, you mentioned it’s neglected.

I underwrote at 3.25% because conventional wisdom was that the fed was going to raise rates starting in the spring but maybe around 25 bps per quarter (LOL).
