Same mechanical, plumbing types, etc so you can buy in bulk and get really good at re--flooring, painting, fixture swapping etc if the same floorplan in all units.

If you're going to keep this property forever it might pay off as a long-term cash flow mechanism.

After all I don't need to know how my car works to be an excellent driver, I just need to know enough to optimize its performance (that and a great mechanic).
