one more little trick on getting as straight of cut as possible is,,,clamp a straight edge guide on back of item cut so the edge of the saw runs along it,,instead of following a eye ball line. can use scews or clamps or a combo so it for sure doesnt move

BTW - keep an eye on that boring thread I started about that Florida senator that is trying to introduce a bill for federalized reinsurance. 10 bucks says that if that happens, as soon as it does they're going to try to get reinsurance for Jupiter under it and pass on all the costs of BP's liability to the taxpayer.

Hiring a few of the locals to do some yard work or labor type work sometimes they will look out for you and keep an eye on the property..of course report any/all of your findings to the local authorities.

The handyman I have now is great, takes pride in his work, gets it done in a timely manner, cleans up when done...etc...I don't tell people for fear of being called stupid, but I sometimes include an extra $20 bill, make sure I compliment the work, look him in the eye and shake his hand...make him feel good about himself.
