Much better to aim for the folks who can borrow a million bucks instead of the ones who fight to borrow $200K.2.  

My current portfolio is about $4.5 million, but since property is so expensive out here, that translates to 8 units, which is manageable.

I understand that a million things could go wrong and that I might end losing everything, but I’d like to understand the risk/rewards to be able to make informed decisions.

For those like me who like to watch HGTV and dream about a million dollar flip.

I underwrote hundreds of million dollars of worth multifamily assets. 

I was a project manager for a highway contractor (not anymore) and my largest project was $45 million, so my standards are a bit high when it comes to contractors.

Take a look at the most prominent real estate investors and developers and many are very highly leveraged and own hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate.
