Renovations for my units are set to be complete in the late spring early summer.

I'd also like to get my first deal under my belt, and without over-analyzing everything, I intend on seriously looking at my first deal this coming summer.

You have a steady flow of individuals going TAD to NAS Pensacola and Corry Station for training (safety school, helo dunker, etc), but you also have a great market for vacation rentals in the spring and summer to supplement the military individuals who need STR's. 

The summer period can cost you money if they leave and stop paying rent.

Had 27 events lined up this past summer before covid.  

I self manage so I'm around my apartment complex doing minor maint, vacuum the lobby, cut the grass a few times during the summer.

Does it make the most sense to save money earned while in school and in summers for a down payment on a multifamily property to house hack, and continue saving for future house hacks/real estate while paying back my loans on time?

It is a fairly high tourist area in the summer when there are a lot of events at the fairgrounds, but not probably not so much over the long winter.
