Some of these events they might try to sell you into a mentoring program or try to sell you something else.

I'm sure it happens, but I can't imagine someone seeing all BP and local meetups have to offer and still deciding to spend significant money on any kind of course or program.

Are the dues paying an idle managers salary or going to project over-runs.... and still not maintaining the place or building reserves (the bad side) or do the dues help a well run association thrive, are they accounted for in a transparent way with good reserves, funding an active maintenance program, solid reserves, and good owner involvement and professional management (good side)..

Have her call and apply to the united way (or whomever is administering the program in your area).

My name is Gavin Parish and I reside in the Dallas area.I'm currently doing alot of reading/listening to podcasts in regards to wholesaling.I purchased a program a few months from a guru that im trying to get the hang of!

Also, the U of R offers a $9,000 grant program for homeowners employed by the U of R purchasing a house in particular areas, the 19th Ward being one of them.

If anyone knows anything about the program and would like to enlighten me, I'd love to hear. 

and what 'programs' they have available that may fit your needs, sometimes helps to come from the perspective of interviewing them rather than them interviewing you.
