We are new to this forum also but have been involved in real-estate in one form or anougher for years.

In my office we had 4-5 agents making all the money and the rest just kind of hanging on for the ride, lol.A lot of people jump into real estate with no idea what's really involved and when they find out they tend to not do any of those things, resulting in little sales or activity.

Incidentally, I've been involved in a consumer litigation before.  

I did most of the work myself in hopes of gaining knowledge of the skills/tools/materials involved in remodeling.

The way I figure it, everyone has to make something, it has to be a win/win for all parties involved, including the home owner.

He has been involved in this business for about 5 years (since he was layed off from a major company that he worked for for over 30 years).

The letter states it was a "scheme", and that he was involved in "unlicensed activity".
