That said, only the wisest REIs are properly vetting and "prequalifying" (i.e. with credit and background checks, and also mortgage brokers and credit repair pros) before making say a: 12,18 or 24, etc. month agreement with a tenant buyer(s).

A little background Info: My father, My stepdad, and my grandpa all invested in single family homes.

@Kenneth Picha  It sounds like we have a similar background and plan going forward.  

I have a good start with my background and knowledge, and I still have a lot of connections in real estate. 

The law increases PM business insurance costs, requires recurring license renewal and educational costs, imposes new background check and testing fees and for those who want to avoid State educational requirements and testing they will incur CAI membership, educational, testing and seminar costs.

I am a new RE investor, though I have a background in property management.  

I also have a minor in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida and a strong background of analyzing Real Estate investments.

My math and science background helped me.But the J O B paid $400 a week and was an advance on future commissions.
