People seem to be intimidated about talking to sellers on the phone. 

I have made a few phone calls to "we buy houses" ads from Craigslist and bandit signs that my brother has seen around to see what turns up.  

I either work, go to the gym, take the dogs to the beach, ride my bike, meet friends for lunch or tv marathons, talk on the phone, whatever I want to do.

The worst part is that he rushes me off the phone right when I start to get excited and tell him more about the condition of the property, and I'm almost positive he said that he had to go because he was showing a property in town and he just arrived.
