From my experience,  assignment contracts are generally poorly drafted and the underlying sales agreements are customarily drafted even worse which adds an additional layer of complexity to sift through.

Option one would be to assign the unwanted contract prior to closing and collect difference between the contract price I have and agreed to sales price with the assigned buyer and retain the desired property.

It appears to be law in every state, according to a few online sources, that the landlord must inform a tenant of all cameras on a property including common areas.

The contract you will sign to secure the property is typically a purchase agreement or contract of sale.
