I would definitely say size of home impacts your decision for adding central AC.

When tenants can't pay the rent they can try to get a job, apply for welfare, apply for rent relief, go see the priest, or whatever.I run several businesses in California and I try to make believe that I am a manager who is working for a corporation in New York and I have to answer to that corporation for reasons e.g. why I made personal decisions to let tenants get away without paying their rent when I had the option to hire an attorney to evict the tenants.I own several fairly large apartment buildings and every tenant paid their rent on-time since COVID started with the exception of one 65-year old woman who lives in a studio and her rent is $1250.

If you once maybe make that decision to go to Europe I will be more than happy to be active and help with whatever is needed!

If I pursue this, I need to know the Pro's and Con's of the decision prior to addressing this to our landlord.

This is more of a curiosity question rather than a question of your decision. 

People who make bad decisions attract similar kind and are  usually in specific situations that do not match where they should be at their age.

Let them make an informed decision if they want to work with you; don't hide what you're actually going to do. 

I currently rent and have no problem staying here but want to make the best decision.

Just wondering if you had a personal connection or were basing the decision on numbers alone...I visit Cleveland fairly often...it's a great city overall...we tend to gravitate to Ohio City...very walkable and lots of transition...great to see some redevelopment in the area.Best of luck going forward.
