I'm under contract on a home in a small town where I grew up.

My wife and I met there, each had our own businesses there and couldn't escape from that town fast enough when we grew up and wanted to settle down.

I too grew up un the Metro Detroit area (GPW) and now live in Queen Creek, am a realtor, and have rental properties.  

Yes we grew up differently than our parents, but we also graduated in a time where many of us had our "hopes and dreams" shattered.

I grew up in Baltimore and do all of my real estate work there, and I'd be surprised to find such a high price tag on this house in the area.
