That’s a lot of rambling, But the point is more...imagine the difference just one or two rentals will make in your retirement plan 15 years from now.

Cell phone towers I imagine are about 10x harder to get a company to put one on your property at this point.

If someone purchased a deal using a hardmoney loan I would imagine time would be critical...

For legal reasons mentioned a few times above, and also, it's mostly a police issue I would imagine, no matter what the area.  

I can imagine what you are describing, I am afraid of the drain on cash flow by maintenance and operational management like you describe. 

, I recommend you separate yourself from the equation and answer the question as if you were advising a colleague or younger sibling: What would you tell an imaginary advisee to have in place before they go all in (imagine they have the same business plan as you): Savings account size (measured in # months expenses it will cover)Emergency fund sizeWorking capital to fund the business planKnowledge level, in which areas of REI Support system, network (or "tribe")Lender or investor relationshipsThen turn the lens back on yourself. 

Now, imagine how this sways comps 2 streets over.
