The Flamingo area is actually putting in a 191 slip marina with convention center and new hotel etc........

Even in LA, seems like West Hollywood is very anti-Airbnb while Los Angeles downtown seems like they just want to make sure they get the hotel taxes. 

I talked with other attendees who had syndicated single family portfolios, medical office developments, hotels...the list goes on!

The use of these sites not only placed homeowners in violation of the law, but also created an unfair playing field for the hotel industry where they are required to collect and remit additional taxes related to short-term lodging.

I would stay in a hotel when you are in town and when you get rid of them at the end of their lease rent out the entire house.I would also hire a PM and inform them that you expect them to be strict and inforce the letter of the lease.

We moved them to a hotel for the week and had our team descend upon the apartment.

Also interested in finding something small that might be run as a full-on BnB or small hotel,  Either with gites or several bedrooms if you know of anything like that.Any input you could provide would be appreciated!
