I still want to stick to my original buy and hold strategy and rent out the unit because I expect it to be cash flow positive after 3-4 years.  

IMHO, it's not worth you or clients getting burned on, especially if SPDS aren't available.Find a good inspector and stick with them.

If you stick to it and get over rejection quickly then you will be fine.

Commission splits are not the only measuring stick.

Certain markets won't allow for my plan to take advantage of its main benefits...and your plan doesn't take advantage of the markets mine thrives in.The most important two takeaways are this...and you stated them both earlier...and we both agree on this:1)  You have to have a plan and stick with it2)..it was fun.
