so much so that many contractors use red wood 2x4's as plates for walls being installed directly on concrete, particularly if the concrete is directly on the ground or in a basement. 

I own some units in a condominium that includes both apartments in a mid-rise tower and 3 story townhouses.  

The west side of the lot has been land-leased out to a cell phone company to put a cell tower and equipment.  

I think it is incredible how the Mayor etc. want to continue to build towers downtown and expect them to fill up with affluent Investors and Tenants who want to live in a concrete jungle at the low point of the head of Tampa Bay, waiting for Flood of the Century...http://www.tampabay.com/news/localgovernment/tampa...This is why I am Selling and will just keep my Residence to Sell Tax-Free every two years or so, with one Rental that I want to move into after that and maybe one Flip that I 1031 as a Rotating Rental Portfolio.

Red flag! 

It doesn't seem to matter if there is yellow or red across a major nearby street, all that matters is if the street where the property is located is green...it has proven to be the number one indicator for buying a drama free property!!

One red flag is taxes seem low - are you counting city, school & county?

One of our biggest "walk away" red flags during customer interviews is a customer who wants to play GC.

I forgot to add she was debating the pet deposit and that should have been a huge red flag.
