Main reason in my mind for getting at least an agent's license, besides the knowledge you'll learn from the coursework and needed to pass the exams, which may not be as tough as the bar exam, but aren't easy by any means, is that once you get hooked up with a RE firm then you'll then have MLS access, which I find to be priceless for making decisions as an investor, even with all of the info now available to anyone via the net on the various RE websites.

i talked to one of my 10 agents (that i use) and she asked if he has a green card. i dont know if he does.... so i clearly have lots of questions and not enough knowledge..

We are doing everything we can to encourage people to sign up (yes - including being a slight nuisance with a blue bar).If you'd like it to go away - the only way is to sign up or sign in.

In fact, barring a minor family emergency, I would have come to the meetup last Monday (at the Bike Cafe, right?).

I staked them out and as soon as I saw one coming home went to the bar around the corner and paid a guy $40 to hand them the paper.

However, you have to be pre-approved through Green Light, which was also updated in an ad on listing today.

This came out in the third meeting, which means we had over eight hours of focused discussions which were all leading to a green light for the partnership before we unearthed the deal breaker.
