Some lenders will treat people that do subject to deals and then do not make the payments like criminals.If they decide to make things hard for you should expect the following.1) They will make an internal note on the file claiming they believe you might be committing fraud and your POA is fake.2) They will send a certified letter to the person that got the loan from them, to the address they last had for them.3) If the people cannot sign for the letter or do not respond verifying the POA, it is likely they will not provide you the payoff.Did the person you bought the house from send a notice to the lender telling them to change the address were they should be sent legal notices?
