If it is NOT a condo (i.e. land is held in common), then the HOA probably just puts restrictions on stuff like paint colors, roofing material, etc in the CCNR.If you own your land fee simple, then in most places you own to the middle of the street.

I've been impressed with Adam Davis' private money blog here at BP. http://www.biggerpockets.com/blogs/862-ultimate-private-moneyWell, certainly colorful and a real go get'm approach that sounds good, but it's a train wreck waiting to happen in some aspects...reading between the lines like call your regulators and they won't care....right....Are we talking guru here?
