The water was off at the place but was easy to turn back on at the meter and I always carry a meter key with me anyway in case of emergencies.At any rate I said told property management to take the darn lock box off the door and either be there to show the house or I'd be taking it back before our contract expired and handle the situation myself.Please note this was my largest and highest rent house in a very nice neighborhood, not some low life place in "the hood".I might point out that on one of my landlord forums a landlord reported driving by one of their properties that was for rent and was again being shown using the lock box method.
