I know of someone that picked the KC area just because they knew of the Chiefs football team, and now they are in the area investing and seeing success.My team and I invest ourselves in the KC market, and we also help others (primarily OOS investors actually) do the same.

Not to mention U of H is literally down the street with a huge football stadium and new basketball arena.  

It's like a football game being played where at one moment a touchdown is 6pts and than next quarter it's 2.

This was a great area close to the baseball and football fields as well as the pre-k school.

Everyone undervalues Ohio (*cough* Ohio State football ranked number 11) until they see the population growth, job growth, appreciation, and beautiful beaches we have.

@Jeremy Fields in my 12 years experience of student housing, the top 3 they care about the most (in order):1) Proximity to something fun: The closer to bars, football/basketball stadiums the better.

The only other time in 30 years we evacuated, my son and I evacuated to the Ohio State vs Oklahoma college football game in Columbus Ohio (lol). 

Columbus also has lots of sports teams located in the central downtown they just finished up a new professional soccer stadium downtown for the crew and we also have the Bluejackets, which is a professional hockey team, the clippers, which is a minor league baseball team, and the OSU buckeyes, which is a college football team, but to a lot of people here, it's bigger than the NFL.
