So as long as vehicles are using diesel fuel and farmers are growing corn/wheat, there will always be contractors coming here for short term jobs. 

@Darren Budahn is right about Mc Bob's though, great corned beef, although you can also get that at Benji's deli in Shorewood and Fox Point, where I'm often camped out, slobbing down a 1/2 lb Benji corned beef sandwich.

Cut subsidies for the corn product, meat product, and tax the hell out of them while you at it, tax even more alcohol and tobacco and the soft drink product.

I'm a firm believer of anyone who works for me making a profit...a laborer is worth his hire and don't mussle the ox that treads the corn but, don't let me discover at the closing table that you're making some unbelievable bonus. 3.

It's hard wired in with fiber so I think the service will be very reliable, and if/when the tenants have connectivity issues they can call the town who provides the service along with electricity, water, sewer, and trash.

In addition to being a LL, I also raise sheep, shear, and process fiber on my little farm.  

Pop-corn is old and out of style.  

All wheat and corn you eat are exposed to chemicals far worse than what you are going to run into in a renovation.
