We need to remodel several Class B rental units in the suburbs north of Chicago, and are trying to determine whether to go these routes, or with stock cabinets from HD, Lowes, Menards, etc.  

I went the conventional route with a 30 year fixed mortgage.

Also you can go the flipping route and build capital for your next investment - however flipping is a lot harder in this market in my opinion so be sure to have someone who is familiar with the market and can guide you along the way!
